About The Instructors

Darlene Kargel is a CPA and auditor for DWCC with over 30 years of accounting and computer application experience. Ms. Kargel has performed Network Security Compliance Reviews since 1992 for ATM and POS transactions. Clients include banks, processors, merchant processors, and key injection facilities in the USA, Mexico and Canada.

Ms. Kargel is vice chairperson of the ANSI X9F6 Working Group and a US Expert to ISO TC68 SC2 WG13.


Stephen (Steve) Case, CISSP is a Sr. IT Audit Manager for DWCC with over 25 years experience in Retail Point of Sale systems, credit and debit card processing, and EFT compliance. Since 1996, Steve has provided training, consulting and auditing services in EFT, Stored Value, and credit card compliance within the Banking and Retail Industry.

Steve is a member of the American National Standards Institute X9F6 Working Group focused on the retail banking industry. As technical editor, Steve played a key role in the development and republication of TG-3-2004 and is presently chairing an ad-hoc committee to update and expand TG-3.
