James O. White, CPA

Jim White has 39 years of experience in public accounting. Jim began his public accounting career with DeLap White Caldwell & Croy, LLP and developed his expertise in providing strategic tax and business consulting to the small to medium sized businesses and their owners. Jim provides consulting, tax and succession planning services in a variety of industry settings encompassing real estate, distribution, manufacturing, retail, professional services, and charitable nonprofit organizations.

Jim helps his clients define their vision and challenges them to commit to its ultimate achievement. He has enabled many clients to maximize their return while minimizing any related tax consequences through effective planning. Jim has also assisted start-up companies, organizational restructuring, acquisitions, mergers and dispositions of companies.

A Native Oregonian, Jim has a Bachelor’s degree from Lewis & Clark College. He is member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Jim is active in Christian organizations where he contributes his talents to his church in men’s ministry with Promise Keepers, serves on the regional council for FCCI, Fellowship of Companies for Christ International, and is a veteran member of Portland’s Singing Christmas Tree.
